Kansas City Chiefs Acknowledge Domestic Violence Allegations Connected to Wide Receiver the Athlete
The Kansas City Chiefs released a comment on Wednesday evening indicating they are aware of domestic violence allegations circulated in online accounts by a former girlfriend of player Rashee Rice and were in contact with the NFL.
The organization omitted the name of Rice specifically in their statement and said they would have “no further comment at this time”.

The woman, who likewise did not name the athlete by name, posted a series of photos on Instagram that seemed to depict indicators of bodily harm. Jones did say the person involved was the parent of her kids, and reports indicate she has kids with Rice, whom the team selected in the 2023 draft.
